Account & User Management
Problem
Admin-level management and customer onboarding were long processes that required valuable engineering time that was mostly not being handled in-app. Customers also had no way to self-manage their accounts or configurations, which led to frequent support requests. We had started with basic account and user management features, but the growing amount of account settings and configurations were not going to fit into the current design.

Research & Wire Frames
We spoke with internal users and stakeholders to identify current workflows and researched other robust account management solutions. Understanding how tasks were being performed outside the application helped us identify key pain points and opportunities to improve the experience. Basic wire frames were created and shared with internal users for feedback on the new structure of the account page.
The manages providers configuration was going be design to accept a CSV upload, but the feature had to be significantly reduced to minor editing. I had to design a simple UI to view and accounts NPIs custom relationships and aliases and allow for adding, removing, and editing on a small scale.

Solution
Create a standard account and user management feature that centralized basic account details, provider data configurations, user management, and some minor customization settings in one location.
The additional configuration and settings features were previously all handled by an engineer, so this enabled any internal resource to stand up a basic account.
